Was looking for a scent that was womanly and sensual. Not light floral, beach-y, or flirty. I wanted a fragrance to draw my man closer to me each time he smelled it.. This was it! I bought it online, never having smelled it....scary...but so happy when I received it. I made my decision based on the description of the scent, and the name of the scent clenched my decision. Each time I know I am going to wear it, I am excited as I know it makes me feel womanly, confident and SENSUAL!

I use the Estee Lauder Sensuous and this is like that fragrance with a deeper, woodsier layer.

I do enjoy this scent quite a bit, but it is very strong. The tiniest half-spray has a very long-lasting, intense scent. I work in a small office, and unfortunately it's a bit overwhelming. I think it smels wonderful so I won't return it, but sadly I won't be able to wear it as often as i would like.

This is my signature scent that I have been wearing for over 2 years. I get so many compliments on it and I HATE to tell what fragrance it is b/c I don't want anyone else smelling this wonderfully. I go through a bottle every two months! I live in a warmer climate, so I wear it all year round. I used to have several bottles of all kinds of scents, but not anymore. Please make a bath soap, gel and lotion NOW! I use the Sensuous lotion in the meantime to layer. Whenever I sample other perfumes, I can't even imagine switching.

All the cliches are true - If it's Estee Lauder, it's classy and elegant. Period. This scent is no different. We are generations of women wearing Estee Lauder in my family. This scent is worthy of that devotion, as well. Every time I wear it, I get compliments. It is very subtle, yet it makes a statement that is unmistakeable, like a whisper in a crowd that stops the din. I wear it day and night. I realize that it says "Noir," but it is truly a scent that you can wear anytime. You can't go wrong with this.

I wouldn't usually consider myself a fragrance person but I when I was given a fragrance tester in the store I could not stop sniffing.
I was originally concerned that it may be a little strong for day to day wear, but I the spiciness of the scent is so alluring, I'd happily smell it all day.
I was tossing this fragrance up with the Nude, but chose the Noir because the Nude was a little too subtle, although I think I will end up buying the Nude to supplement my Noir usage for different occasions.
It is definitely a good buy. I literally thought about this perfume for days after I first smelt it and convinced myself I had to have it.

This is a hot scent. No heady flowers here, this one is all sensuality and steamy nights of intense passion. It doesn't get better than this. The bottle looks like a finger print.

Its hot, spicy, warm, sexy, and well worth the price! It's very femme fatale; I absolutely love it. Its a wonderful fall/winter purfume as its warm and heavy.
When I first sprayed it in the store it smelled sweet, hot, spicy, and woody. But after I put it on me I really noticed the vanilla and amber. I guess it's different for every person as it mixes with your body chemistry.
When I first bought it I wasn't crazy about it, but I got so many compliments from men and woman- plus my boyfriend said it was sexy. It grew on me and now its my signature scent. (Some people say its too heavy for daytime, but I think one spray is just enough daytime sexy!)
It's less sweet than sensuous nude as I don't notice the coconut in the noir. Plus the nude is much sweeter- too sweet I found. The regular Sensuous was OK, but I felt like it was missing something. The warmth and spicy flavor is very sexy and original. I will purchase again!

I literally stumbled upon this fragrance. I went to the mall twice with a long list of fragrances that I thought I would like based on the ingredients. I was looking for a cozy, winter, spicy fragrance. I tried EVERYTHING on my list only to be perplexingly dissappointed. Literally my last fragrance was Sensuous. I sniffed and thought. Then the lady showed me the Sensuous NOIR. I sniffed and sniffed and thought and walked around, and finally went out to my car to give it some more thought. Something different about this fragrance simply captivated me. I went back into the store and bought it and the lotion. I wear it every night to bed JUST FOR ME and my husband. I wake up in the middle of the night smelling it. In the morning my husband says I still smell good! Great Job! Estee!

Love it. Had been a Beautiful fan for years and tried all the different versions of Beautiful. Purchased Sensuous in October for my birthday. Decided to try Sensuous Noir for "after work". Love it. I get so many compliments. I don't wear it to the office but I do wear it out on the weekends with my husband. The scent is more fully developed and is just right for evenings out. Keep it light and subtle and you will get compliments too.

I won this fragrance in a silent auction in town and was pleasantly surprised when I put it on. It smells different from any other fragrance I've ever tried and I simply love it. Its strong enough to wear but not overpowering at the office. This has quickly become a new favorite and something different to wear than any other scent I've ever smelled! Good job EL!

First, as all perfumes, this is not for everyone, so try a tester on yourself. Give the scent time to dry on your skin and develop and interact with your chemistry. It has a different effect with each person's personal body chemistry. This is one of the most wonderful scents that I have ever gotten from Estee Lauder - and I buy exclusively from the Estee Lauder collection. It's truly a sensuous, deeply fragrant and delicious scent that is a bit on the playful side as well as being sensuous. You need to really love to have a wonderful aroma about you. I was in the doctor's office and she came out to get me, and said, "Come on in and make my office smell as good as my waiting room does - RIGHT NOW!" And now, she uses Sensuous as well - off hours so she won't drive the male patients wild. Try this one. It's just, well --- it's SENSUOUSLY DYNAMITE.
