Enjoy using this brush. It puts the eyeshadow exactly where you want it and blends nicely. It would be nice if EL made a shadow brush that was thinner for making fine lines; applying a light stroke of shadow under the eye.

I use this brush for the Pure Color Eyeshadow. It gets in the corners of my eyes w/o flicking powder everywhere. With other brushes I've had to put tissue under my eyes while I applied shadow but this one give amazing control. Plus the bristles r very soft n not scratchy.

This is a very user-friendly, high quality eye shdow brush. It's wonderfully soft & carries the perfect amount of eye shadow for effective use. I particularly like the protective plastic cylinder that protects this brush between uses.

After using my cream shadow I use this brush to blend in powder shadow. It works like a charm.

Essential Eye Color Brush

Best For: Even Application
Before Esteee Lauder's Contour Shadow Brush, I applied my base eye shadow in many short, uneven strokes. I admire short, uneven color strokes in Monet or Van Gogh paintings but not on my brows and eyelids! With the Estee Lauder Contour Shadow Brush, I apply my base color (I use Estee Lauder's Pure Eye Color in Ivory Box) above each eye in just three sweeping horizontal strokes. The thick, tapered bristles hold and release exacly the right amount of shadow for each stroke and the stokes blend seamlessly. This is an essential eye color brush.
