Holes too small

The holes are too small in the plastic top. What I did was to take a small punch and a hammer and (carefully) enlarge the holes. Works fine now and saves a lot of time in the morning. But we shouldn't have to do this....Estee Lauder should do this.

This powder is so light, and does not settle in my wrinkles; it actually hides some of them. I would recommend this to anyone, especially us baby boomers!

I've tried almost every powder there is and this by far is the best. It only takes a small amount. I use it with a brush. I use the swirl and tap technique I learned when I used the minerals powders. I just brush it lightly across my face and it sets my makeup and holds all day. Love it.

I love this powder, have used it about 7 years now, it does not seem to settle in fine lines like most do. Wouldn't use anything else!

I have been buying this powder for at least 10 years, and I would be lost if it wasn't being made anymore. I have a skin tone that is impossible to match; but this powder does flawlessly. Bravo!

I have been using this powder for years and it continues to deliver! It provides a great finish without looking "powdery". It doesn't seem to collect in fine lines like other powders. I really love loose powder because it allows for better control - especially when masking a blemish. Excellent product!!

Best For: any time of day
I've had this jar of Lucidity powder for 6 years now and it still works great and looks great on my face. I bought both loose and pressed powder, but I've used more pressed powder because it's easy to take it anywhere with me. I have a very sensitive skin and few bumps from acne scars, but it makes my skin look very smoth and natural. The powder doesn't build up along the cheek lines after I smiled all day. The matte finish on the pressed powder is magic--just a little touch, it covers a lot and stays matte for a long time; especially, in a hot sun like in Colorado that tends to make my face get oily. Now, I also found a perfect foundation for it, the Double Wear: Stay-in-Place Makeup Foundation.

Nothing to write home about, but, in all honesty, I do not use loose face powder all that often.
I'm 61 years old and was hoping that I could see a visible difference when I used this product, and was waiting to see if my daughter or my friends noticed any difference.............nothing, so then maybe it is "natural" looking?!?!

Not so easy to get powder out of jar, I turn it over and hit it about four times, then apply with brush. The powder "puff" app;ies to heavyily, I think.

I love the texture, lightness and discretion of this loose powder. It is, by far, the best product of its kind that I have used. It control the shine perfectly but it does not cake up. In fact, it can be said that it is not even there, it does not add color. The matte, natural finish that it provides looks like bare skin.

I have loved Estee Lauder light lucidity powder for years. I really, really dislike the new packaging!! The former container was smaller, taller, and did not twist on and off. It fit into my make-up basket and I could easily remove the top to apply my powder. Also, the holes for the powder were either larger or there were more of them. This new package makes it hard to store, hard to open and hard to apply!!!! Don't change what works!!! (Can you tell I don't like to take a lot of time fussing with make-up????)

Love the loose powder. I have oily skin and this powder controls the oily look. The only complaint is the container. I give five stars to the powder, but the container is a three. You have to turn the container upside down and tap it into the lid or the puff. That is annoying. Still, I would definitely recommend the powder and would buy again and deal with the container.

I chose the light instead of transparent and I'm glad I did. I can use it without foundation and gives a nice finish. Good coverage! I just wish that they would do something about the puff . It just doesnt work well. A brush is better.

great powder

I just got back into setting my makeup with a loose powder. Actually, lately I've been just wearing a tinted moisturizer with powder over it to make it look a little more polished. This powder is lovely. Very, very finely milled, so that it just seems to blend right in - no overly powdery look. My skin is dry and this doesn't seem to enhance that or to settle into any lines. It has a pleasant scent that isn't too overpowering. The color I purchased was the translucent one, since I wasn't quite sure which of the colored ones would work best.
The container is huge and will last a long time, as I don't use much, so it's worth the price. The container is packed VERY full, and the shaker holes in the top are small, so initially it is hard to get the product to come out - removing the puff, putting the lid back on, and then turning upside down and tapping a few times works well.
If I ever run out, I would buy again!

So light on your skin ... you never feel it! It imparts a truly flawless finish (I use after foundation & makeup) and lends a soft look to skin. I have used when in a hurry without foundation and it works wonderfully. Additionally, it photographs exceptionally well, for anyone interested! No oily, shiny or dulling effects. If you are looking for soft and natural, this is your powder. It even works well with foundation and/or concealer to reduce redness and notice of blemishes. I have very fair, sensitive skin and this powder did not irritate at all. Highly recommend it!

I use this as my main foundation. I DO NOT have perfect skin or even remotely close to perfect (I have break outs and scarring) but this product covers it well and really does diffuse the flaws to make my skin appear smooth and beautiful.
