I have been always wanting to use eyeshadows but felt intimidating when they form crease over my eyelids but now I'm so happy and love to wear eyeshadows they just feel not only wonderful but stay as is for longer time. Thanks to EL base.

This is the best cosmetic purchase I've ever made. It's amazing the difference it has made in not only my estee lauder eyeshadows but even the cheaper brands as well. All day last-ability. Great coverage. Shadows stay in place. Worth every penny.

Best For: girls with less oils in skin
I like the cover up for eyes that is supposed to help your shadows stay on longer......however, it did not do a thing for keeping the shadow on longer for me. i have very oily skin, thus less wrinkles, and thus no staying power in my shadows. overall though i will continue to use it becasue it helps somewhat.

This is by far and away, the best eye shadow base have ever used, and I have tried them all! It truly helps keep the eye shadow in place for super long wear. I highly recommend this product for every one who wears eye shadow and wants it to stay on all day and night.

This is a product that every woman should own! After 9 hours at work, through hot flashes :) and physically demanding activities, my eye shadow and eye liner stays put. I've not had one instance when I've returned home and my eye shadow has creased, slid down or smeared. It's absolutely amazing and I'll never wear eye makeup again without it!

I'm not crazy about this product. I have extremely oily skin n I can't get any eye product to work w/o smearing or creasing so I'm really not surprised it didn't work for me. I tried using it directly under shadow n I tried using it w/a layer of powder on top n w/ a layer of powder foundation on top. Still got creasing. It helped my eyeliner stay on though.

Best For: avoiding eye shadow creasing.
I've tried other products, but this by far is the best
purchase I've made. I put it on early in the morning and it lasts all day long. When I washed my face late evening it's still working strong. No creases and my eye shadow colors look brighter.

Wonderful Eyeshadow Base!

I started using this eyeshadow base last year. I use to use another major brand but found that it was drying out quickly, was not easily applied, and would dry out on my eyes and cause irritation. The EL double wear base goes on like silk and lasts all day long. I use powder shadows and not only does this base hold them very well, it also enhances the colors! I won't switch again!

I Love this product ! Never have to worry that it will do it's job. My eye makeup stays in place, the base doesn't rub off, and am very pleased. I wear it faithfully every day. All of the Double Wear products are EXCELLENT !

Good Primer!

I have used many different primers from different brands and this one beats them all. It goes on smoothly and smoothes out my eyelids covering minor redness. I find that this brings out the pigment in less pigmented eyeshadows and helps eyeshadows stay in place. When I put this on in the a.m my eyeshadow is still there by evening.
I also like to use this to help conceal my bluish- red under eye circles. It fades ever so lightly but I use this under my concealer and it helps my concealer stay in place.
Overall,this is my favorite primer because there's no shimmer as I weirdly experienced in one brand, it's not matte but rather it's velvety and smooth. No orangey base either- just neutral! A jar lasts me about 8 months without drying out. Perfect!
Please don't discontinue it!

I "do my face" at 6 am, and it looks just as fresh at 5 pm. Your eyeshadow won't wander. I just picked up another jar of this after not having it for awhile and I wonder why I forgot to use this. It's great

I have never use eyeshadow base before until now when I saw the Estee Lauder video tips on how to apply eyeshadow. It taught me how to apply the eyeshadow base before applying the eyeshadow. It is so great, my eyeshadow even liner stayed almost 12 hours. I do have dryness on my eyelid but after applying the doble Wear Stay-in-Place eyeshdow base really help my eyelid dont looked dry after applying the base then the eyeshadow. Now I cant go without it.
