Very disappointing
Date:June 9, 2013
I have used the Time Zone lotion since it was introduced. I loved the way it felt going on, how it absorbed quickly, and left my skin velvety smooth. I tried this new formulation and am so upset. It takes forever to dry and feels tacky. My skin does not feel as soft as it did. I am returning the rest of the bottle today. Why change a product that works? Please bring back the lotion.

I like it!
Date:April 29, 2013
Best For: Oily Skin
I have used this for awhile under my Doubleware makeup, am on my second bottle. I like it. No breakouts. I allow it to dry a little before applying makeup, and it helps makeup go on smoother. Also, no shine -well usually, and I have combo skin.

Mixed Emotions
Date:April 10, 2013
I have combination skin and I'm 68 years old. I've been using the Time Zone Lotion and LOVED it. I was devastated when I heard they redid the formula. When a product is redeveloped, it usually doesn't agree with my skin.
After using the new gel formula within a week I had a HORRIBLE pimple breakout. I was ready to take the bottle back. I stopped using the product until the blemishes disappeared & I started to use the Time Zone Creme with SPF15 and the Resilience Lift Creme with SPF15 under my make up. Both were too heavy to wear even in the winter time in Florida.
I decided to give the Advanced Time Zone Gel formula a try again. All my skincare is Estee Lauder and I had to try different combinations of skincare products in order to find what was best for my skin while using the new gel. I found that after cleansing my face I used the Perfectionist (CP+R) Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum than I applied the Advanced Time Zone Gel moisturizer. The Time Zone Gel goes on nicely and feels cooling. After it sets for a few minutes I apply my make-up. This is tricky as the Double Wear Makeup with SPF 10 doesn't glide on as easily as it did with the Time Zone Lotion but the make-up coverage is far better with the new gel..
This is where my mixed emotions about the gel vs the lotion comes in play.... When using the lotion by the end of the day my make-up seemed to have worn off if I didn't touch it up. With the gel formula at the end of the day my make-up looks as fresh as it did when I put it on in the morning which I really like. I do have to take a tissue and just blot my nose, chin and forehead once or twice a day but that is it... I do get a LOT of positive compliments on my make-up and skin.
I haven't had any more pimple breakouts once I started to use the gel formula again. Maybe my skin just needed to get used to the formula.
Sometimes I just use my day time moisturizers and no makeup and I wish the Advanced Time Zone with the gel had SPF in the product.

Breakouts all over face after 1st application
Date:March 16, 2013
I loved how it felt on my oily skin, and it did absorbed oil for hours. However, today (and after only 1 application) I woke up with pimples all over my face. I am glad that I was only trying this product and didn't purchased it.

Returning this one...
Date:February 21, 2013
I have been using the Time Zone lotion with SPF for years and loved it. I do not like the new formula and it has no SPF!! Within one week of using the new formula I have two huge breakouts on my face and I am 58! All I can say is 'don't fix it if it isn't broke'!

Advanced Time Zone
Date:February 18, 2013
I just started using and my face is so soft. I was having some acne issues and this is lightweight and non clogging. I like it doesn't have an SPF since I can use at night. So many products have SPF and not everyone can tolerate chemicals. I like that its in the pump bottle and not jar. Keeps ingredients more stable. My skin is glowing after 4 days.

No SPF is not very advanced
Date:January 19, 2013
I loved the Time Zone SPF 15 lotion and have been using it for years with great results. I was excited to hear Lauder was going to upgrade the formula with an Advanced line. I couldn't believe they took the SPF out of the lotion especially when we all know that SPF is essential to anti-aging. Please consider adding SPF to the lotion formula.

Great Product!!
Date:January 9, 2013
I have had oily skin my whole life and now that i need anti-aging products, finding something that works and doesn't cause breakouts or increase my oiliness is a problem. Well, I don't have to look anymore! This is the best product I've ever used. I was getting compliments after a week of use. My skin is soft and radiant looking and my fine lines are gone! Deeper lines are much less noticeable. Love the gel feel and the way my make up goes on after. Skin seems less oily too. Thank you EL for remembering that we oily skin women need ant-aging help too. I never want to stop using this product!

Why did they change it?
Date:January 6, 2013
I have used the Time Zone lotion for years and loved it. I especially loved that it protected my skin with SPF. What I can't figure out is WHY they would reformulate an already great product, and WHY, WHY, WHY they would remove the protective SPF from a high end face product!

Nice only if you have oily skin
Date:January 3, 2013
Best For: oily skin only
I purchased this item because the Time Zone Lotion with SPF 15 I use was out of stock. I am 45 y/o with combination skin so this gel, even though it feels refreshing, it is more for those with oily skin instead of combination skin. My skin feels soft but it needs more moisture than this gel can offer. Also, the gel does not have SPF filters so overall I prefer the Time Zone lotion with SPF. Again, it is great for those with oily skin.

AMAAAZING
Date:November 8, 2012
I HAVE REALLY OILY SKIN THAT NEEDS ANTI-AGING BENEFITS. THIS GEL IS THE PERFECT LIGHT WEIGHT MOISTURIZER. IT DID NOT MAKE MY SKIN GREASY. I THINK IT ACTUALLY HELPED WITH OIL PRODUCTION. I HAVE USED THIS NOW FOR TWO WEEKS AND MY SKIN IS SO MUCH BETTER. MY SKIN IS PLUMP, LINES REDUCED, AND LOOKS ALIVE AGAIN!
