Great Foundation ! Great coverage ! Not oily or drying, just right where you need it...especially for combination skin.
The department stores say they are not carrying Equalizer anymore. They said Double Wear is the recommended replacement. Well I tried Double Wear and didn't like it at all. It was drying and had an offensive smell.
If they do stop making Equalizer, I will have to go to a different brand for foundation so I hope they reconsider this decision.

I Only Buy the best, Estee Lauder's Equalizer Foundation is the best and richest formula. The Finish is Immaculate and Never wears, fades or changes, Last All day. I only use foundation to cover some flaws and even out skin tone,this is the best. Estee Lauder makes the best Foundation makeup in the world, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I have tried and tried to find a color that was as perfect for me as "NUTMEG" in the equalizer formula was to NO AVAIL.
Everything I have tried is to dark or to light. I know its been awhile BUT PLEASE consider bringing it back. Experimenting trying to find a color to match is very expensive..

Great coverage without feeling heavy on my skin. Perfect for my combination skin and it doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles. Even in the high humidity, it lasts all day with out much touch up.

i am a light skinned girl, and have always struggled with finding a foundation that is light enough for my skin-I found it with your Equalizer in Pearl 01, and have used it ever since. I recently went to buy some more since I was running low, only to find out that the color is no longer in existence, and the lightest color is nowhere close. It will not work-now I'm on the hunt for a foundation to replace yours-how frustrating! Everyone doesn't worship the sun, and I wish cosmetics companies would realize that.

This rating is for Estee Lauder's Equalizer in shade Pearl. I have used that foundation for years and, like other reviewers, it matched my fair skin tone PERFECTLY. Now that this shade is gone and none of the other shades match my skin tone I have had to switch to the Double Wear. At first I thought I liked it. But now I'm on my 2nd tube of it and I'm finding that my makeup looks terrible! It goes on too thick and feels cakey. I can't get it to blend right. It is making my skin dry and flaky. And I JUST bought this 2nd tube before noticing this problem. I also prefer Equalizer's bottle to Double Wear's tube. If I get too much foundation, there is no way to put it back and it's too expensive to waste. I miss Equalizer in Pearl. I never had any problems with that foundation. I am writing this review in hopes that another request for it will reinforce the apparent need for this product.

I love this make-up and am so frustrated my color was discontinued (cashmere). I've tried the double wear lite and find it too drying (I have to mix it with Adv Night Repair) and I've tried the new invisible foundation and its just not the same. By the time I "build" it to the coverage I need I feel like I've use way more than I should and again it makes my face feel dry.

I cant really tell you how much i love this product, moisturizing without being oil, perfect coverage, perfect finish, im so glad its back the only thing i can complain of is that you discontinued the color pearl, it was a perfect match for most of us, please bring it back!! and dont discontinue equalizer ever again!!

Thanks, Estee Lauder, for bringing back Equalizer from near extinction! I have been using this product for many years, and it's my absolute favorite! Equalizer goes on smoothly, and keeps my skin looking fresh all day. I don't feel like I'm wearing any makeup at all, which is what I like about it. Plus, it works perfectly with my combination skin.
I am absolutely delighted with this product and will continue to use it for a long, long time.

This is a wonderful product, but I am pretty discouraged because my shade was discontinued. I would love to know the reason. Nothing work in my skin like Equalizer but your defeat the porpoise if you are not using the right tone please consider to bring back the tones for yellowish skin

Like many of the reviews, I also wore Pearl, and I would wear this foundation again if the color was brought back, the same thing happened with the Country Mist Foundation, the color I wore for many yrs. was discontinued, I have just recently started wearing another Estee Lauder foundation, maybe I'll like this one as much as the previous foundations

This is an excellent foundation. However, since you have discontinued PEARL, there is nothing for those of us who are fair. I have tried ALL of your other shades. They look dead and dull. PEARL shade should be back on the market.

I have been a customer for over 22 years and love Estée Lauder products but I just may be forced to find another brand. I have worn Equalizer Warm Gold for over 15 years and the color was discontinued. There is nothing that is close to the color. An EL consultant tried Double Wear and Invisable Fluid and couldnt find a color to match, either to orange or to pink. Equalizer Warm Gold was a perfect color! I have noticed that's a trend with EL products. Can someone tell me why they discontinue products, even my makeup counter had no knowledge of this. Very sad!!!

I have used equalizer foundation for about 10 years. I have very sensitive skin most makeup makes my skin burn and itch. This is perfect great color choices and most of all no burn or itch feels comfortable all day. I Love it! Excellent product!!!

Pearl in Equalizer, was the best color on the market, for my fair skin, with pink undertones. Why is it discontinued? I have been buying this makeup for ten years, and now...I do not care for Double Wear texture, to heavy and masky for me.
I adore this foundation, but please bring back pearl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have worn this foundation for years and the Pearl color matched my skin perfectly. I got lots of compliments on how good my make-up looked. I am not happy that Pearl is no longer made. I have tried the same 1N1 in other Estee Lauder foundations - but not nearly as good.

I've been using this makeup for more years than I can remember. It goes on smoothly and is very natural looking while it covers flaws. I hope they never discontinue it. It's hard to find in dep't stores. I found it on Estée Lauder's website.
