i really like this concealer a lot, its definitely helpful on the dark eye circles. wears extremely well, very fine and light on the skin.

I love this Double Wear Concealer because I can put it under my eyes and use minimal make-up to finish my face make-up. This is a true WINNER!

Best For: covering dark circles eye concealer
I have very thin skin underneath my eyes, so dark circles have always been a major problem. I have tried numerous concealers throughout my life, and nothing has ever worked as well as this one does. I don't even have to use Photoshop anymore to get rid of those dark circles in my own photos :) Oh, and it will stay on for a long, long time, without creasing.
This is already a 3rd bottle I am going through, and will definitely buy more in the future! I hope Estee Lauder never stops making this one.
Probably because I am allergic to Double Wear foundation, this one only works as an eye concealer for me, - if I use it to cover a pimple or an age spot on my face, I usually end up with a break-out in that area. But it does a wonderful job covering my dark circles, and skin around my eyes does not get irritated from it.
I find this to work best in combination with Ideal Light

If I would have to chose only one Estee Lauder product I could not live without, the Double Wear
Stay-in-Place Concealer would be it. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs serious coverage.

Best For: covering dark circles
This is the best concealer ever. After searching for more than 10 years, double wear concealer is the BEST! It covers my dark circles well. I suggest using a blending brush to smooth it out.

Covers dark spots and evens my skin in preparation for my makeup. I use it under my foundation on dark spots and redness. I use it on my under eye circles after i've applied my foundation. It works great and lasts all day.

I used Double wear concealer for years in light medium, it was the only concealer that covered my dark undereye circles. Then EL went and changed it to stay in place flawless concealer. Now its not my favorite anymore, after a few hours of wear it seems to crease and crack and looks like I have too much make up on. Please EL bring back my old concealer.

After trying what seems like every concealer out there, I have found one that I love! Primarily, I use concealer to cover my dark, dark undereye circles. In my opinion, one layer of this concealer offers solid medium to full coverage and hides my dark circles better than any other concealer that I have tried. Amazing! I love this concealer because it's easy to blend and stays in place all day. It never creases and is one of the only concealers that I've found that doesn't need to be set with powder! It sits beautifully on the skin, looks very natural, and is non-drying. The color range is excellent and offers both pink-based and yellow-based shades for a range of skin tones. I use the 'Warm Light-Medium" shade and it's a perfect match.
I had been trying to cover my circles with thicker full coverage concealers and these product looked too heavy and dry.... like I was obviously wearing makeup. With this product I apply moisturizer under my eye and then three or four dots of the product. I blend by patting with my finger and then let it dry. That's it! It covers and looks so natural.
This product really is everything that I was looking for in a concealer and I just wish I had tried it sooner. Although, after trying so many other products, I truly understand what a gem this one is!

I love the texture of this concealer and its covering power.
The only fallback is colour. I have very fair skin with pink undertone and the lightest shades are too yellow for my skin complexion. Apart from that, it is one of my favourite concealer.

I am very disappointed in the new formulation and wish EL would bring back the old product. I used the old product for over 10 years and LOVED it. The new formula is nowhere near as smooth, stay in place or effective as the old. The new formula fades and forms creases and in general provides terrible coverage. So VERY disappointing.

I am disappointed at new double wear concealer. I really loved the old formula much better. This new formula does not last that long, not that good coverage and it forms crease lines. Old formula lasted longer, best coverage, and no crease lines. I request EL to bring old formula back or else I have to look for another good concealer.

What a shame that the company reformulated the only product that ever worked for me. I have VERY dark hereditary circles and tried EVERY single concealer on the market, no exaggeration. The old Stay in Place formula worked like a dream. All day looked fresh and covered my circles completely. The only one that didn't cake, crease, smudge, or disappear. Now this new formula is like every other concealer out there. Wears off within minutes, cakes and creases. PLEASE Este Lauder, BRING BACK OLD FORMULA! We don't care this is more moisturizing, we care that it works! For more moisture we have our moisturizers!

For the past several months, I used another name brand line of concealers to cover a facial flaw. I was very dissatisfied because the color that was selected for me did not match my complexion and looked obvious and heavy. I had used Estee Lauder makeup for years and was always satisfied with the flawless apperance it gave me. I decided to try the concealer for this trouble area and to my surprise, it was perfect. It was flawless and lasting. No more then I would expect from Estee Lauder. IT should have been my first choice!
