I am so glad I bought this when it first came out. It is so beautiful and very pigmented. I love using all the colors including the bright pink. This was a spurge for me but worth it!

This is my favorite 5-color palette! I strongly recommend this palette for those of us with green eyes. My favorite application results in a gentle, multi-toned lavender with neutral undercurrents: heavily apply the light champagne color (lower left) to the eyelid and blend upward to browbone, lightly apply the warm-brown (upper right) in the eyelid crease and blend upward to below the browbone, apply the fuchsia (upper left) on the entire eyelid and blend upward to just below the browbone, apply the indigo (lower right) on the outer half of the eyelid and very lightly in the eyelid crease and blend upward to below the browbone. If I want more color, I use the brush to dust on and blend final passes with the fuchsia and the indigo--but if I want the lavender effect to be more subtle, I'll dust on finishing passes with the champagne overall.

I will give the violet underground eye shadow palette five stars. The colors are amazing and the colors can take you from day time into night time. Every eye shadow color also suits me, I love it!

I absolutely love Estee Lauter products especially the colors of blush, eyeshadow, and the make up compact is great as well. I also wear the perfume beautiful.
