I am 47, and have extremely sensitive, dry skin which I believe is due to using acutane for acne when I was 20. So you young women, beware of acutane! This is the only foundation that works for me. The new products make my face red, itchy, and flaky. I react to all those added suncreens. This one is moisturizing and covers well without being thick. It looks great on - no clumping, no flakes, and no rash. I sure hope EL will ALWAYS keep this excellent product in its line-up.

I used this make-up for years and they dropped the vanilla shade that I wore. I tried the new color, but find it too dark. Please bring back the vanilla shade for us folks that don't go out in the sun much. Thanks

I have been using Country Mist Liquid Makeup in Country Beige shade for approximately 20 years or more. So glad it's still available online. It gives me the dewy finish my very fair, dry skin needs and a sheer coverage that I love. It's by far the BEST makeup I've ever used. Please Estee DON"T Stop making it! Have tried other EL lines and they do not work with my skin type. Country Mist, I love you!!

odd fragrance

Best For: people who like a powdery fragrance
I returned this product because it had a distinct powdery smell. It was too strong for me to use on my face because I couldnt escape from the fragrance and it conflicted with my light perfume.

I've been a Double Wear user since 21 (I am 24 now) but I thought I'd try this country mist out because I liked the sound of a dewy look. It's pretty minimal coverage and I do add powder to this. It does have a bit of a make-up smell to it that I'm not particularly fond of. It does it's job but I will be trying something else or returning to Double Wear.

I have always had dry skin and was on that journey for years trying to find the right foundation. I did read many reviews on this product and thought I would give it a try.
Thought the color was not going to be right, but it was and i am very happy with the results. Hopefully, this product stays on the market.

Country Mist liquid makeup was given to me as a gift....what a gift it was....I am 67 now and constantly receive comments about how wonderful my skin looks. I think so too! There are rumors this is being discontinued......hope it is NOT so!

I ordered this product after reading all the many rave reviews on the EL W/Site. I had previouisly given up wearing any foundation but I am thrilled with this product! This is the first liquid foundation that does not make me look "made up" .... it is so light with just the right amount of moisture for a slightly dewy look from morning till evening. I ordered the Vanilla and it matches my skin tone perfectly.

I have been using Resilience Lift and it is ok but not perfect. Then I discovered that Estee Lauder still makes the Country Mist make up that I used many years ago. I LOVE IT .. it definitely has a soft dewey look and feel. It is by far superior to any other make up I've tried. It is great for my older dry skin and actually minimizes fine lines. It is perfect for me and I hope it is around for many more years! Estee Lauder, please don't stop making this wonderful product!

I cannot believe the dewy finish on this makeup! I looked 10 years younger! Makeup the way they used to make it with no fancy claims attached to it. Stunning! Did not hide in fine lines and the texture was just right! In fact, my fine lines disappeared for 10 hrs or so! Country Beige looks "pinkish" in the bottle but added a nice glow to my warm tone skin! I believe the Vanilla Beige is more for the cool skin tone. I will never be without this!

I hav e been using this foundation for about 20 years and ALWAYS come back to this one. I use the country beige in the summer and vanilla beige all other seasons. I use this with Stay in Place powder. It lasts and looks luminous - NEVER cakes up and looks like your own skin in any light. Love it!!

I have been using Estee Lauder make-up for about 25 years, I get so many comments on my skin, less wrinkles etc. I NEVER buy anything else. I lost my job several years ago and I have not had the extra cash to buy MY FAVORITE Perfectionist for my face.....(my grandma always told me to buy a good face cream and I found one) I love your products!

Wonderful Foundation for Older Women

This foundation is perfect for women over 55 who have good skin but showing aging signs. Light weight with good coverage, never cakes, creases or looks made up. Do apply with a sponge not a brush. Smooths out redness beautifully.

I have been using this on my semi dry skin for years. Was so sorry not to be able to find it in the department stores. I was down to the last few drops and looked on line. Wow am I happy now! This gives a soft finish that covers very well and doesn't look heavy for any age. It blends so well and gives your face a fresh look. Nothing I could find compares to this foundation that looks so natural. After 30 years of this product and still getting compliments for great looking skin what else could you ask for!! Thank you Estee Lauder for keeping this around........

For the last few years, I have used a mineral foundation because the liquids that I tried were too heavy on my face. After reading reviews about Country Mist I decided to try it. With so many positive reviews, perhaps this foundation could be the right one for me. I am really pleased with this product. The color is a good match for my skin. It is light and blends easily, leaving no make-up line. It feels really comfortable on my skin, not heavy at all, and it continues to look good hours after applied. Well done, EL!

I have been using this product for at least 30 years and find it to have the best coverage of any foundation that I have tried.I am only sorry that they dropped many shades years ago. I am using a shade that is not perfect for my skin, but I like the product so much that I will continue using it with the present shade. The shade that I used previously was # 10.
