the bottom to hard to reach!

excellent product but too expensive, if they could at least make it so that all the product can be used, but the bottom part is very hard to reach, at this price, they could at least make it easy to use it all!

I have used both the original formula and the new "improved" formula, and as most who have, I much prefer the original formula. Why do they only produce the 3.4oz bottles twice a year? Luckily my local store calls me when they get them in! This is my one luxury that I do for myself. However, I do wish they would improve the packaging... it's so hard to get to the last portion in the bottle, and at that price, you want to use every last drop! Are you listening to your customers, Estee Lauder??????? If I ever find a product that works as well (and I am constantly looking) I will stop buying this.

Reformulation gone wrong

I loved the last iteration of Perfectionist, but when this was reformulated, it was given the texture of a liquid-to-powder product. I decided to give it a try, thinking it was supposed to act as a primer, which is currently in fashion. This product no longer works well as a treatment as it just sits on top of the skin.

The product itself is great. I love it and use it every day. That is, until I get to the point where there is 1/4 of the bottle left, and the pump will no longer pump it out. This stuff isn't cheap, and I am tired of throwing away so much of it. I'm looking for a replacement product.

It smells great.
The skin is super soft and perfectly smooth after this serum. My advice: Try using it as a primer.

For me it is a great product and I use it every morning before putting my make up on. If my skin is dry, first I use moisturizer, and then the serum. It makes it super easy to use foundation and have no strikes.

It instantly smooths the skin and my foundation just glides on and I actually use less foundation. This is actually a perfect primer! I have used the old Perfectionist and loved it. The new one still provides the same effect. However, if you put too much on, it starts to "pill" on your skin because I think it is too thick and not everything is absorbed into the skin. I have been through 4 bottles of this and I cannot see any long term effects yet but I like its temporary one.

Love this product. I apply every evening after cleansing my face. It makes a real difference in the appearance of fine lines on my face. I ordered a larger size so I will not run out!

I have been using estee lauder products since my 20's and just yesterday told my 22 year old daughter that it is time she follow this lead. I will be getting her Swiss Performing Extract as a gift shortly. I have been blessed with good skin, but do know that using these products for the last 30 years has kept it that way. I have tried many brands at times over the years but I am now using Estee Lauder primarily. Perfectionist serum works immeadiately and you will feel the difference within minutes if not seconds. My night regiment is Advanced Night Repair for both face and eyes.

Just adding my own plea to the rest- please bring back the original Perfectionist! I'm on my last bottle and it just works so much better for me than the new one.

sadly, i must join many of my fellow reviewers in saying that i love perfectionist and its effects on my skin, but i will not buy it again in the current packaging. the last third of the bottle is no fun working with. when i spend this kind of money, i want to be looking forward to my regime, not dreading it. i have never befpre had such a complaint in my 30 years as an estee lauder customer, and i am confident they will make an improvement.

I loved the original Perfectionist (CP+) Wrinkle Lifting Serum. I hate the new one (CP+R.) It's a bit thicker, it has a fragrance that I detest and it made my skin feel really dry. I stopped using it, and am now looking to find the original product. Hopefully, someone will still have old stock. Or I'll have to look into a different brand !

I used to love the old Perfectionist, but I do not like the "new, improved" product. It is much thicker than the old product and does not spread well. In addition, I find myself using much more than I did with the old formula. I am going to continue buying the product, but I am looking for another product to replace it because I am not pleased with it. I wish they'd bring back the old formula.

This used to be my FAVORITE but I cannot stomach the smell and I think the new ingredients are causing me to breakout. I never broke out with the old formula. I also have slightly oily skin on my forehead and this product works great as a primer before my foundation. It keeps the oil to a minimum. I also am very disgusted with the pump. This product is not cheap and the serum does not flow easily and I really do not want to use a q-tip to finish the last 1/2 of the bottle. Take away the scent and design a squeeze tube and I will give this 5 Stars!!! This may be the last time I purchase this product because of the smell and waste factor.

I was a big fan of the last version of Perfectionist and was curious about this new CP +R formula.
Overall I doni't think much has changed. The new
[CP + R] formula seems silkier and less fragrant which are both positives. I love that is It’s easy to spread and sets quickly to a smooth, slightly powdery finish. I also think it's great as primer.
