Best foundation ever!
Date:May 19, 2013
Best For: anyone
This makeup hides my imperfections. It's doesn't feel like your wearing makeup, either. Your face looks natural, almost like it's air brushed. Usually after work, I want to wash my make up off! Now, I don't wash my face until 9pm. The bottle is plastic, with a ball inside to help shake up the foundation. I use a foundation BRUSH to apply it. No more bare minerals powder make up! This girl went back to Estee Lauder for good!
Best For: average/not too oily not too dry skin, great for young and old!
I am turning 62. I have been blessed with good skin, however, thick make-up on older skin, especially in the summertime, is uncomfortable and can be messy. I tried Invisible Fluid and loved it! I have a color for the winter and a color for the summer. It has good coverage, feels good on the skin, and looks sheer! I use a sponge to apply, followed by a light touch of powder to set. You will love it!
For years I've used the Double Wear Stay In Place base and I admit that I'm still getting used to this product. However, it creates an absolutely FLAWLESS complexion! The odd thing is that it comes out of the bottle a bit oily and even smells like oil paint ... canvas oil paints, not wall oil paints. But it goes on and somehow disappears and leaves behind perfect skin! It does feel a bit heavy after about 4 hours and I always think I might need to pat with my compact, but when I look in the mirror it still LOOKS the same ... it just FEELS a bit oily. My only real complaint is that it comes in a very inexpensive feeling plastic bottle. It's the same price as the Stay-In-Place base that I normally buy, but it FEELS cheap. I like make-up to feel beautiful and look beautiful all the way around ... it's a state-of-mind. So I'm not loving the packaging. But the coverage is almost perfect.
I'm torn. I absolutely LOVE the makeup itself, but have difficulty with the packaging. The squeeze bottle is less than accessible for my arthritic hands. I much prefer the glass bottles used with other foundations, as you can just tip out the make up. With the squeeze bottle, I either can't get anything to come out or end up with waay too much and no way to get it back in the bottle. It ends up being an expensive waste. It would be much appreciated if there could be an arthritis friendly bottle for this foundation.
Too good. Probably I should stop here! Got a sample, tried it and went back for the full size. I like light makeup for a polished look and this is just perfect. Shake it 15 times and then a pea size makes the whole difference. I just apply with my fingers starting from my nose and blending well. Works well for the entire work day. Thanks EL.
I've never been a department store makeup kind of girl. Too pricey. But this foundation is amazing. So light. My skin still feels amazing with it on, and it looks fantastic. It looks like I've been air brushed instead of an oil-based painting.
Best For: a natural flawless finish, Medium Coverage, combination and dry skin
I have to admit it took me a while to try this foundation because it was described as "sheer". This can be a sheer foundation but very easily applies as a medium coverage as well. I just use a little more and dab a little extra over my trouble areas. The sales lady at Estee Lauder said "you can pretty much do about anything with this foundation" and she was right. Shake it real good before applying. I'll admit this goes on a bit runnier than most foundations I've used but I've gotten used to it and grown to prefer it because I have more control. I had to learn not to use too much. When it sets, it's like magic, and you're left with a very real, soft and natural finish.
I can't stop looking in the mirror. I love it that much. The 2CN1 shade is perfect for my lighter complexion with cool undertone.
It feels amazing on my face. Like wearing nothing. I can actually feel air on my face like my skin can breathe. I also think this makeup makes me look younger than my age of 42.
This makeup looks good on me at least a full 12 hours. Which is perfect in my opinion. I don't want to wear makeup I have to blast off my face every night or that is so matte that my face looks like a chalkboard.
Fact...I will continue to use this as long as it's made and available in my shade. I've tried samples of at least 20 foundations (no joke) in the last 3 months and none compare to this.
This is the best, Estee Lauder...standing ovation.
Best For: anyone who wants beautiful but 'natural' covereag
Over the years, I've tried MANY makeups BUT this is the first one that I ever truly 'fell in love with'. After trying a sample, I was amazed how little it took to achieve a smooth and almost flawless coverage! To be honest, it was the priciest of any make-up I've purchased BUT the results are well worth the cost. I LOVE it and since I've been wearing it, I've gotten compliments asking what I've done to have such beautiful skin! I'm a youthful 70 but you wouldn't know it looking at my skin!
Best For: shine controling, Natural Look, beautiful shades!, very blendable
I have used Many so called "natural" looking makeups and was always disapointed. A few years back EL had a makeup to match your skin tone but it was discontinued. So I went to Nutrious and hated it then DW light and it was to yellow. I got a sample of this in 2CN2. It is very natural, weightless, and buildable coverage. They best part is it stays on is realy long-wearing. LOVE IT... For more coverage or stressful long days I wear DW 2C3 Fresco. DONT stop making this!
Best For: acne-prone skintypes, sensitive skintypes, combination skintypes, oily skintypes
Invisible Fluid Makeup is super lightweight and has sheer-moderate buildable coverage. It leaves a soft matte finish that blurs pores and imperfections and wears beautifully all day long. I was happily surprised how nicely this controls oily shine on my t-zone. Due to this, I would highly recommend this foundation to those with normal-oily/combo/slightly dry skintypes, rather than dry/very dry skin. My skin is combo-oily/sensitive/acne-prone and I've had no breakouts or irritation. In fact, my skin has been clearer than before switching to Invisible Fluid! The color selection is incredible. My perfect match is 1WN2, which is the lightest warm-neutral shade. It's great for those with light skin with soft neutral-yellow undertones.
