Such a nice change of pace from black liner. I bought the midnight blue/black and it makes you double take. Applies smoothly without using much product. The brush is not the best so use your own tools, but overall a star.

Tried this eyeliner and haven't gone back to anything else yet. It goes on easily and stays on all day. Only need to use a little - don't like the brush and wish the brush came with a cover so the black won't get all over in my makeup bag when traveling.

I purchased this product because it is stay in place but after using it i discovered it`s not true . i understand it will stay with for a long time because i will not use it much . i prefer eye-liner pencil better .

Fabulous Gel Liner

I was skeptical about this product because I tried a Gel Liner from another high-end company about 6 months ago. I had 2 different shades and was not happy with either--the consistency varied and it was not easy to use, nor did it stay on. I am so glad I tried the Estee Lauder Gel Eyeliner because it is by far a superior product. I purchased the Stay Midnight. The consistency is creamy, it is easy to use, it goes on smoothly and stays on all day. I love the shade and I love the product. I had no difficulty with the little brush that comes with the liner--in fact, I like it. I saw a bronze shade in the store and I plan to return to buy that one, too.

I used this today for the first time. I applied it 8 hours ago and it hasn't smudged, smeared or faded away at all. Very impressed. I got the brown, but will order it in black for a more dramatic look. I might experiment with other brushes, the one it comes with is a little bit thick.

I've used EL pencil eyeliner for a long time and have been perfectly happy with it. I was moved to try the get liner because the pencil liner does fade near end of day. I tried the midnight shade, and it goes on beautifully and lasts all day. I have allergies and there are days where my eyes water. As long as I am careful with tissues around the eye area, the liner stays put. I really like it, and prefer the midnight over the black. It is dark, but not too dark. I will purchase this again.

I love this eye liner. I actually found an eye liner that does not run and make me look like I have two black eyes. This eye liner stays in place and I love it.

I am not sure why I haven't tried this before, I no longer even look at my pencil eyeliners I use the black for a more dramatic look and the stay midnight ( I have brown eyes) for work although I would use either for either :-) great product stays on very long and nothing stayed on these eyes lately...the blue is like a deep navy and looks wonderful!

Best For: perfect for humidity
Love this eyeliner, because my eyelids tend to be oily, and it really stayed where I put it. I however used my own eyeliner brush and didn't try the one that came with the eyeliner.

I purchased this in Coffee because I am extremely fair with green eyes and red/blonde eyelashes! I have always used pencil eyeliners which were nice, but I was looking for a more dramatic effect that would last longer since I live in hot and humid Florida. This is quite expensive, but upon application I immediately became impressed. It gave me a perfect defined line that didn’t smudge or budge during the entire day! I have never had an eyeliner last me all day because as I mentioned earlier, I live in Florida which means walking outside for a few seconds can cause the make-up to melt off your face! I recommend this to anyone searching for that perfect eye defining line that truly lasts all day!

I have tried many eyeliners but they have either gone on too thick or blotchy. This eyeliner stays in a perfect line and never smudges. Sometimes I use an eye primer but it isn't necessary, but If you do, the liner will last until you want to take it off. One more thing.... a little goes a long way.

I love this eyeliner. I use the small brush that came with for my lower lid and my eyeliner brush on my upper lid. Applies well and stays in place. I am ordering another for my home away from home.

I have always used Doublewear eyeliner pencil but wanted to try a gel instead for the finish. It was so easy to use, looks great and I now only use the gel! Once it has set, it doesn't leave a trace on your eyelids where you don't want it like pencils can. I have sensitive skin and there have been no issues. I absolutely love this product!

I have to line my light eyes or they disappear so I''ve been using all kinds of liner for years. I like a very fine line that becomes part of my lashes so I use a very narrow brush. The formula is so creamy it glides across my lid with ease. I dab it on the back on my hand first to get the right amount on the brush and then layer it for more definition, I let it set for a few minutes then take a q-tip dipped in oil free remover and clean up the top & bottom lid with a few quick sweeps. A fast and easy process for the morning rush to work. I get my lashes dyed black and use the onyx which is a very stiking look but in a natural way; it really makes my blue eyes stand out. If I don't take it off at night, I wake up and it's still there and not smudged under my eyes. I wear contacts so I have to line my eyes prior to inserting my lenses and the liner stays put after all the tearing - others have not. The girl who dyes my lashes even asked if I had gotten permament eyeliner. I even coat some on my lashes when the dye starts to wear off. It lasts forever in the container too...the other gel liner I used (top name & more expensive) would turn hard and crumble half way through. EL still going strong after 4 months, still nice and creamy. Only wish there were more colors, deep navy or deep violent, but no complaints. Experiment with different brushes and techniques to see what works best for you but the liner itself is simply the best. Oh and if I forget to wipe it off my hand right away, I have to scrub or take my eye makeup remove to get it off. Trust me it stays put - an exceptional product!!

It Smears on Me

I'm Asian with hooded eyelids. It's hard to find a eyeliner that stays as long as I want it to. Was excited to get this after reading all the reviews thinking this will be the one for me. But it doesn't stay on me. I use eye cream so I know that's a problem. I found it works if I use primer before applying makeups. But it didn't work on this eyeliner. It only stayed for an hour if I skip eye cream. I'm very disappointed and I'm returning it. What a bummer! :(

the eyeliner itself works really well. i like the consistency and how long it lasts. the brush shown is not the brush i recieved. mine is not tapered, it is blunt, and makes it harder to apply. i will be needing to find a new applicator brush.
