I have been using the Stay in Place bottle foundation but due to Chronic MRSA sores invading my face, I was in need of something to COVER well. THIS PRODUCT DID JUST THAT! Thanks for boosting my self esteem!!!

Thanks to the "Live Chat" I now have make up that makes my skin look beautiful. The lady I spoke with even matched me to the correct color via the chat. All I had to do was describe my skin color and my problems and she recommended this to me. I'm an active plus size woman with blemishes that I'm embarassed of and I sweat pretty bad rather than "glisten!" Nothing has ever been able to stay on my face for more than 30 minutes because of my active lifestyle. This does. It's totally transfer resistant; doesn't come off unless soap and water is used. Still looks great 12 hrs after applying. It's a matte foundation so a loose powder is not even necessary. I highley recommend this to anyone who wants to feel beautiful; would like full coverage; and lives and active lifestyle! Thank you so much Live Chat lady! :)

Best For: red blemishes, undereye circles, sun spots
I'm 48 years old, and recovering from chickenpox. Yes, chickenpox. I can now go out in public because of this concealer. I'm extremely fair, so the very light version was a God send.
It will take some time for the pox marks to fade, but this will certainly make it tolerable. Imagine angry, red pox marks - at 48!!!! Once the marks are gone, I'll continue to use this for my sun spots and dark undereye circles. Estee Lauder has made me a fan for life now.

I like it very much. But the quanity is very small just 1 oz.
Too much expensive for the quanity!
And for summer higher SPF will be better!
But other things - viscosity and quality are good!

Vitiligo perfection!

I have searched and searched for a product that would work on my vitiligo. I have vitiligo on several portions of my body. Recently, it started to affect my hands. I began to search for something that would work on my hands and not rub off on my clothes. I also work in a preschool and have to wash my hands a lot. This product is great at covering my vitiligo. It is also great at the length of time it stays on. Water does not seem to affect it. However, after 15-20 hand washes, it does start to rub off. For this, I keep a small container with some in it in my purse for touch ups. Otherwise, I have not found another product that would last even 5 hand washes, much less 15!
I definitely recommend this product!

I am 66 and, although I don't have a lot of deep wrinkling, I do have Irish skin that didn't tolerate all the sun I gave it as a kid. I have had to have several small cancers frozen from my face, which leaves tiny spider veins, and I have some dark spots. For years I've had trouble finding a foundation that is the right color. I seem to be too fair to be medium and have freckles that make me seem too dark to be light. I first purchased this foundation several months ago, and though the color seemed good, I felt like I was wearing a mask. I've since experimented and found that if I use plenty of moisturizer and apply very minute amounts of Maximum Cover with a small concealer brush, it looks very natural. Also, using this method, I discovered that the Creamy Vanilla is such a perfect match for my skin tone, that I can blend it out and don't even have to cover areas that have no discoloration, and, of course I don't need any other concealer. I'm a fan. Now, if you could come up with a color somewhere between Dusk and Linen for your Double Wear 15 hour foundation for those days I don't want to be so fussy....

Best For: normal/oily skin
I have used maximum cover for many years and have absolutely loved it. The product used to look fresh and natural and the cover (which i need ) was excellent. I have pale skin and the 'light' was perfect. It was also great for mature skin, and I always used to get compliments about my skin. Of course I admitted to the excellence of the foundation. Since the revamp/reformulation. I have not found a colour match and the product is a bit 'cakey' and drying. I have mature skin.
Please Please, even if you don't change the formulation bring back the popular Light shade as it suits English skin and is a nice neutral.

really liked what I have used of the makeup but have to exchange it for another color so I haven't been able to use it too much yet, one thing that I noticed with it is it made my pores look larger....would like to know what to do about that..

Perfect As A Concealer

I have horrible under eye circles and have tried just about every concealer out there. Those that were the right color were either very oily or way too creamy..and those that were the right formula were too yellow or too beige. Then the ones that met both my criteria of color and formula just didn't cover my circles or came off on everything or came in such ridiculously small tubes and jars that I used it up too fast!! It felt like a loosing battle! Then I discovered this Double Wear Maximum Cover in 05 Creamy Tan and it is not only the perfect color for me but it is also is the perfect formula- very easy to apply and blend for a very natural and flawless finish. It also have AMAZING coverage! You can not see my under eye circles at all! Photos of me almost look edited, my skin looks that even and flawless! I am so in love with this product, I can't even find the words to describe it! I also love the fact that its a pretty decent sized bottle, being a face makeup, and since I am using it just as an under eye concealer, this bottle is gonna last me a very very long time. Since I wear makeup daily, I used to joke that I needed industrial strength concealer in a industrial sized container...well, jokes over, I found it!!! :)

i love this foundation. the color isn't perfect but i really like how opaque it is. a little goes a long way. i have acne prone and very oily skin. I love the staying power. I can use this over my acne blemishes and then blend it out to the rest of my face. so its like a concealer and foundation in one step. It is a dry formula but it works with my oily skin. I also mix this with my double wear light to come up with a good color match.
the only issue with this foundation is that it dries really quickly so u need to work quickly. i mix moisturizer spf to this sometimes when i need it to be more creamy. this also does not break me out but keep in mind i don't slather this stuff on, i use it sparingly and only heavy on my blemishes and under my eyes. Fantastic product.

Good coverage,must blend this make up really well or it looks cakey,and make sure face is well moisturized so it spreads well,a little goes a long way !!

This is the only complete coverage makeup that I have ever found adequate for its purpose. I used to have very bad discoloration on my face and admittedly, it is much improved, but this stuff does the trick evening you out. Just be careful and apply lightly and evenly and blend, blend, blend, because it is possible to look like you're in stage makeup, or even wearing a mask. This is industrial makeup and it will cover. I no longer feel the need to cover as utterly as I used to, but, when I do, this is here for me. Great stuff.

Double Wear is by far the best foundation I've ever used, and I have used a lot of different brands/kinds. Using very little, it goes on smooth and stays on ALL day. It's comfortable to wear, and covers all imperfections. I've been using this foundation (and it's predecessor, the "Maximum Coverage") for years, and will continue to do so. Absolutely fantastic!

Best For: those that need complete coverage
I have tried many makeups that claim to cover acne scars and discoloration. This is by far the best. It goes on silky, stays on, dosen't rub off on my clothes and really does cover with very little product needed to do so. I will definately be using this again. Most of the others are very heavy and thick this is just the opposite but covers just as well as others but feels much better.

Excellent foundation

Let me start off by saying i've only been using double wear maximum cover for a couple of weeks. I'm 18, with extremely uneven skin tone. I have a dark birthmark, a port-wine stain on the right side of my face and so i have gone through many types of make up, generally cheap foundations really don't work and my skin is oily so I have to use powder. But then I found this! My shade is creamy ivory. It's fantastic, I only need to use a little bit (a miracle for me) and it covers completely! I use powder to reduce the "dewy" look as it isn't my thing, but it stays all day and gives the best cover I've ever seen! I would definitely recommend it.

I've been using this foundation for about 15 years. I am 54 years old and my skin looks like I 'm 35! I get complimented on my complextion all the time. It's a great esteem builder.
The only problem is the price, it appears that through the years, the cost keeps creeping up.

This foundation is dry and tacky. I have to thin it out to be able to use it at all. Also, It doesn't blend in, it sit on top of my face like a mask and it pools into my pores. It make me look weird. It just isn't right for me.

Good Coverage

I really like this foundation. My skin has some scars and discolorations and this foundation provides good coverage for that. I have combination skin that is prone to acne and this makeup doesn't make me break out. I use some powder to "set" it. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product and the price isn't bad either.
